About Ashley
Cajun. Tour guide. Snoball maker. Yoga instructor. A Louisiana native sharing her passions with the world.
I'm Ashley, a Cajun lady from southern Louisiana, born and raised in the Lafayette area. I've been calling New Orleans home for years now, and this city runs through everything I do. I'm passionate about history, conservation, and all things New Orleans: the architecture, the music, the food, and especially the stories you won't find in any guidebook.
My Three Passions
Tour Guiding
I've been a New Orleans tour guide for over ten years. What started as sharing stories with friends visiting from out of town turned into a career I absolutely love. I get to show people the New Orleans I know: the hidden courtyards, the history behind the architecture, and the local spots that make this city unlike anywhere else.
Mais La Sno
I started making snoballs during the pandemic while raising infant identical twins. Our backyard in the Bywater had a door that opened right up into Clouet Gardens, a neighborhood lot park, and I was already growing a bunch of local foods and herbs out there. I decided to make homemade, local flavors for snoballs and started selling them right out of my backyard. Since then, Mais La Sno has popped up at school events, music festivals, weddings, and all kinds of gatherings. What makes us stand out are the unique, fresh flavors you can't find anywhere else.
Yoga & Wellness
Yoga found me during a stressful period, and it changed everything. Now I teach because I believe everyone deserves a practice that makes them feel strong, calm, and connected. My classes are welcoming, judgment-free, and designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether you're brand new or have been practicing for years.
Let's Connect
Whether you want to explore the city, cool off with a snoball, or find your zen, I'd love to hear from you.
